Cooper Cunningham Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you of the demise of Cooper Grant Cunningham on May 10th, 2023. Cooper’s loved ones and friends will miss him deeply. Twenty-two years ago, he entered the world as the cutest baby ever and was subsequently taken from it. Cooper was loved and will be missed by his family: mom Julia Ind, dad David Cunningham, and sisters Ally and Madison.
Cooper’s relationship with his uncles Ken Cunningham, Rick Cunningham, and Jeremy Ind has grown closer over the past year. Frances Cunningham, Cooper’s grandmother, also misses him very much. In tribute to Cooper’s gentle soul and affection for animals, he is also survived by Riley and Pako, his beloved pets. Cooper had completed his first year at Dalhousie and was now in his third year as a software engineering student at Western University.
During the summers, he helped his dad out with a few other software projects. Cooper spent a lot of time riding his bike around the countryside because he enjoyed being there so much. Each winter, he would spend as much time as possible in Collingwood on skis and a snowboard. Cooper was an eager and energetic person who would devote his seemingly infinite reserves of energy and knowledge to studying whatever issue piqued his interest.
He could talk endlessly about health and spirituality since he was so interested in them. This was most obviously seen in the time and attention he invested in preparing his meals. Cooper was an incredible force of nature who could do everything he set his mind to. He was firmly committed to his beliefs and would spare no time or energy in his pursuit of a goal he had set for himself.
Cooper loved his family deeply, and they loved him just as passionately. The world is a sadder and darker place without him, and he will be sorely missed. On Wednesday, May 24th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, a memorial ceremony will be conducted at Morley Bedford for anybody who would like to pay their respects to Cooper in person. A memorial service will immediately follow in the Old Mill Home Smith Bar from 5 to 9 p.m.
